MICHAEL SHEA
Michael has over 25 years of broad business and consulting expertise. Michael was a Principal at the Battelle Memorial Institute, a Senior Manager at AT Kearney and most recently a Director at Huron Consulting. He has consulted with and led numerous engagements in many major corporations within various industries, numerous colleges and universities, as well as worked for and advised engineering firms and research institutions. These include Chevron, Sears, ABN-AMRO, American Electric Power, Detroit Diesel, Boston College, Case Western, Duke, Florida State, Wake Forest, Geosyntec Consultants, and The Field Museum.
Michael’s areas of expertise include strategic sourcing, negotiations, procurement assessment, mergers and acquisitions, functional and organizational design, human resources, strategic planning, and operational strategy. Michael is the President and Co-Founder of Griffin Strategic Advisors.

PETE SHADEK
Pete Shadek has nearly 25 years of management consulting experience, with 12 years of that as a Principal with AT Kearney, and three years culminating as a Partner at Archstone Consulting. Pete helped to develop Kearney’s Strategic Sourcing methodology, and trained hundredsof AT Kearney and client professionals worldwide. Pete’s consulting experience includes strategy, operations, and organizational experience, including assessment, planning, design and implementation to drive growth and profitability improvement in the oil and gas, consumer products, retail, electronics, telecom, manufacturing, and services industries.
Pete has extensive experience in all aspects of large-scale projects, including the development of strategic plans and the supervision of the subsequent design, development and implementation. He has led sourcing engagements across many industries, representing almost $10 billion in combined annual spend. Pete has lived and worked in the US and Japan. Pete is a Principal with Griffin Strategic Advisors.

JOHN BUERKLE
John has over 30 years of marketing, M&A, general management, and international experience in consumer products, technology-enabled services, and consulting. John's experience includes serving as a partner in the Strategy and Consumer Products practices of Archstone Consulting; President of Unext International, an Internet-based executive education services company; and President of Asia and the Americas and member of the Executive Committee of SC Johnson & Son. He has also served on the boards of public and private companies and not-for-profit institutions.
John specializes in enterprise transformation, helping clients improve and streamline their growth strategies, business processes, cost structures, commercialization practices, and organizational effectiveness. John has had P&L responsibility for more than 30 countries and speaks fluent Spanish.

MATT BIGGS
Matt has 13 years of industry experience driving shareholder value and profitable growth through strategy development. Matt has designed and implemented value-based management, M&A strategy, strategic planning, brand/product strategy, consumer research, scenario planning at the corporate, business unit, brand, and product levels.
Matt has worked in several industries, particularly consumer goods, retail, health care, and financial services. He was Project Management Professional (PMP) certified in 2005 by the Project Management Institute. Matt is a Principal with Griffin Strategic Advisors.

MIKE SHEEHAN
Mike has 12 years of diverse corporate finance and consulting experience. Mike has lived and worked in both the US and many European countries and has played key roles in the delivery of initiatives in areas such as: strategic planning, supply chain strategy, order management, strategic sourcing, operations improvement and change management. He has worked with consulting clients in the apparel, consumer packaged goods, financial services, manufacturing, and retail industries.
Mike has also worked at private equity firms in Europe and the US in a variety of roles including Director of Research.

SCOTT BERMINGHAM
Scott has taught, served as an administrator and consulted in higher education for over 20 years. As a corporate and educational consultant, he has worked with both fortune 500 companies and leading educational institutions across the US. His expertise is organizational alignment, process solutions, and change management.
Scott served as Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and Director of Faculty with the Lake Forest Graduate School of Management. Prior to that he was Executive Vice President of a privately held venture capital firm.

Carrie has over 20 years experience providing strategy and organizational advisory services to leading Fortune 500 consumer products, retail, and manufacturing/distribution clients. She specializes in working at the Executive team level to produce pragmatic strategic plans that are both visionary and actionable while securing the support of both the Board and employees. Carrie has served as the Strategy and Organizational Practice leader at two global consulting firms. She has consulted in strategy and organizational effectiveness to many global companies, including Kraft, Unilever, Clorox, and Kellogg. Carrie is the CEO and Co-Founder of Griffin Strategic Advisors.
